Wonderfully Oversized Christmas – Advent Zagreb 2024

As part of Advent Zagreb 2024, we joined forces with Brigada, to help bring to life two new immersive Advent locations — spaces designed to break from the classic Christmas market formula, offering a magical experience focused on atmosphere and imagination.

On Svačić Square, we produced and installed eight oversized Christmas sculptures — from a giant candy cane to a four-meter shooting star and a 300 kg present — forming the heart of a whimsical installation titled “A Wonderfully Oversized Christmas”. Built from large styrofoam blocks over the course of two months, these monumental figures required cranes to position them and quickly became a magnet for families, especially the youngest visitors.At the same time, Advent Ball, previously held at Mažuranac, found a new home in the Upper Town, adding elegance and tradition to the historic core of Zagreb. Unlike previous years, this time the Klovićevi Dvori Gallery was transformed into the main venue, hosting dance workshops in as many as 10 different styles over the course of 14 days.Together, these experiences offered a refreshed and emotionally rich layer to Zagreb’s Advent story.
